What are the run times of the Stay Diffuser?
The Stay Diffuser has three run times: 6 hours, 12 hours, and 18 hours. The 6-hour setting will run continuously; the 12-hour setting will run for two minutes on, two minutes off; and the 18-hour setting will run for 2 minutes on, 4 minutes off, either until the water in the reservoir is low or the time period has ended. As part of an automatic safety feature, our diffusers turn off before the water reservoir is completely empty.
What is the Stay Diffuser made of?
The outside of the diffuser is made of high-quality matte metal. The inside reservoir is made from BPA-free plastic. Because the diffuser is ultrasonic and runs on vibrations instead of heat, there is no interaction between the water, plastic, and essential oils.
Can the Stay Diffuser light be adjusted?
Yes. The Stay Diffuser has 4 light settings: on, dim, candlelight, and off. You can adjust the light settings by clicking the light button at the back of the diffuser. You can also press and hold the light button to turn off all the lights.
How do I clean the Stay Diffuser?
To clean the inside of your Stay Diffuser, mix a tablespoon of white vinegar with water and let it sit in the reservoir for 30 minutes. Then rinse it out, and use a cotton swab to wipe the inside of the reservoir. This will clean out any residue left behind from the essential oils. We recommend giving your diffuser a deep clean every month.
To clean the outside of your Stay Diffuser, simply use a damp cloth to wipe the metal.
Does the Stay Diffuser come with a warranty?
All Stay Diffusers come with a lifetime warranty. If your diffuser has any mechanical or manufacturing defects, we would be happy to assist you.

Why is my Stay Diffuser not misting?
There may be a few reasons why your diffuser isn’t misting properly. Here are some ways to troubleshoot the issue.
First, give your diffuser a deep clean. As a part of a built-in feature to protect our diffusers, the unit won’t run if the ultrasonic plates are clogged with essential oils. Watch our video above for instructions on how to clean your diffuser.
Next, make sure the water is filled to just below the line inside the reservoir. If there is too little or too much water in the reservoir, the diffuser won’t turn on.
Why is my Stay Diffuser not misting for the full time cycle?
Ensure that the water is filled to just below the fill line to get a full time cycle. In addition, environmental factors—such as the humidity in your space and the type of water used—may affect the run times by approximately 15%. If you notice a large discrepancy in run time, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why is my Stay Diffuser not turning on?
Make sure you’re using the original power cord that came with your Stay Diffuser. If you misplaced your power cord, don’t worry—we sell replacement parts here. We also suggest plugging your diffuser into a different outlet to ensure it’s not an issue with your power source.
Next, ensure that the water is filled to just below the fill line. If the internal sensor notices that there is too little water in the reservoir, the diffuser will not turn on. Also, make sure that the Stay Diffuser lid is sitting completely flush on the base.
