YOU NEED:
Tea Tree Essential Oil
Tea Tree Essential Oil definitely has a distinct scent. It has a super earthy, herbal quality to it, as well as a hint of bitterness, which we find blends really well with sweeter aromas like Lavender or Lemon.
Its astringent and antibacterial properties make it a favourite to keep on your top shelf—we love adding a few drops to a face steam or even just applying it directly to blemishes. It’s also great for cleaning pretty much all surfaces: countertops, shower heads, jewellery—you name it.

How we use it
- Blemish spot treatment: mix 1 drop of Tea Tree with a bit of coconut oil for a natural, astringent spot treatment.
- Countertop spray: mix 30 drops of Tea Tree, 20 drops of Grapefruit, 1 cup of white vinegar, and 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spritz, inhale, and wipe clean. Caution note: test this mixture on a small area to make sure the strength of the vinegar does not harm your surface.
-
Jewellery cleaner: add 2 drops of Tea Tree to half a cup of vinegar. Let your jewellery soak, then scrub it clean with baking soda and a toothbrush to make it sparkle.
Blends well with
Lavender, Lemon, Sweet Orange.
